In some ways, I feel my tale is just beginning.
Who am I? Well, I serve an awe-inspiring God who has allowed me to be a homeschooling, volunteering wife to an amazing man and mama to two creative kiddos and three inspirational fur babies.
He gifted me as a reader, photographer, learner, speaker, teacher, editor and Indie Author who believes: “Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it yet,” just like L.M. Montgomery who penned those words in her dear book Anne of Green Gables.
I have a bit of an infatuation with the written word.
To me, words are musical chords; sentences and paragraphs are melodious bars of notes with punctuation as their metaphorical cadence. Poems lilt like waltzes; short stories become lovely bagatelles or haunting sonatinas; and books … books are symphonies. They rise and fall; they pound and whisper. They transport us to another realm and paint pictures of alternate dimensions and creatures while revealing to us our own inner workings.
It’s these Tales that inspire me … as a reader and as a writer. You see, I’ve dreamed of being an author since the age of six; but I let fear cage that dream far too long.
I had to lose myself in my writings in order to find my dream … and decide to bring it to life. And, that’s why we’re all here!
We now compose a Fellowship. Thanks for joining me on this quest! I don’t have a map, but we’re going to follow wherever the road leads!
