Join fellow readers for a monthly Book Club Chat: the first Thursday at 8 p.m. (CT). No set book—this virtual club allows readers to share favorite books and ask for recommendations, regardless of where they are. The face-to-face interaction through Zoom grows literary friendships and fosters a love of literature.

Any Good Thing Read-a-Long
I will be reading aloud each chapter of my debut novel—and the 2022 Louisiana Author Project winner—Any Good Thing. Join me each morning for a recording of that day’s reading in a Facebook group (link coming soon). We’ll have a chat in the comments each day with guided questions and an open Q&A between us. Plus, I am planning two live Zoom events where we can take our discussion deeper: Thursday, November 14 and Saturday, November 30.

The Haunted Book Shop Book Signing
Chat with me and Vanessa Reyner, author of Cultural Detox: Clearing the Chaos to Hear God’s Voice, at the lovely Haunted Book Shop, home of Mr. Bingley and some of my favorite bookish folks! This will be during Artwalk in downtown Mobile, which is a fantastic monthly event you don’t want to miss. I will be featuring the final book in Carolina’s Legacy Collection, One Good Thing, but we will have the entire collection on hand!

Book lovers across the parish are invited to meet local authors, buy books locally and find their newest reading obsession while supporting writers in the community! Refreshments will be served, and entrance is free to the public. I will have all six books available for purchase.

LAM Family Reading Challenge
Join my family of four for our inaugural LAM Family Reading Challenge. Your family’s challenge—should you be brave enough to accept it—is to READ OUT LOUD TOGETHER! That’s it! No set book: hundreds of picture books, War & Peace or anything between—even audiobooks! Families of all sizes and ages are welcome! We’ll have a Kickoff (12/1) and a Closing Party (12/29) on Zoom (these will not be recorded), and I will have regular posts in a private Facebook group to keep you going and keep us connected.
